Leaning on tweet metrics

Twitter Partner ProgrammeTwitter has rolled out its Official Partner Programme, a new consulting tool using expert third parties to work on microblog data for advertising campaigns. First partner is IBM, which is now up for offering strategic insight, consulting and analytics to help brands make decisions based on Twitter metrics.

Twitter says partners like IBM will help marketers, advertisers and brands scale, manage and measure campaign performance, effectively measure a brand’s activities and identify marketing and consumer insights, and manage a brand’s social presence.

“We believe in the transformative power of Twitter data for businesses, says Glenn Finch, global Leader of big data and analytics for IBM Global Business Services. “With our deep industry and technology expertise, we’re prepared to help the modern enterprise capture the knowledge of social data and turn it into actionable results.”
